Started the day by reading the new’s, now I’m depressed by the actions of others. President Trump has given Ukraine an automaton, give up to Russia or lose all our support.
This raised a question in my mind, why? Russia are the aggressor stealing land and people in a quest to grab what is not theirs. Putin is a Dictator of a communist state. So does Trump really want to surrender to the communist, when every other US president has always stood their ground against such hostilities.
I then quickly moved on to the financial markets that appear to be in utter chaos since the trade war broke out in the USA. With China pulling almost all their funding out of American equity and investment companies and Elon Musk losing billions of dollars from his personal wealth. Now my depression deepens. This will affect all of us.
Oh, then some good news, well for some it may be. If when HS2 is complete and I could get to Old Oak station ‘London’ I could get a train and be in Birmingham Airport in 31 minutes, oh great; all I have to do is spend almost two hours getting from my local station into central London and then across to Old Oak to catch this wonderful new service. I think I’ll take the car it will be quicker. So, a bright spot clouded by stupidity.
At this point I gave up on the News for fear it may corrupt me.
